An item can have:

• Name;
• Shelf life - can be filled in automatically based on the value from the program settings;
• Weight - the weight of the item;
• Quantity - measurement of the item in quantitative terms;
• Volume - the volume of the item;
• Recipe - for jars;
• Picture - a picture can be linked;
• Description - a description can be specified.
